Rinse FM Release Two Part Documentary on Pirate Radio

One of the original pioneers of London pirate radio, Rinse FM have interviewed the likes of Geeneus, Slimzee, Jammer and Marcus Nasty about the origins of early pirate radio stations.

Rinse itself began in an East London tower block in Bow E3 and has transpired into the mammoth platform that dominates 106.8 FM today.

One of the most widely known brands in alternative radio, Rinse has grown over it’s 22 year lifespan into a station that encompasses the best in new and upcoming artists, DJ’s and MC’s from every genre in the scene.

The station itself only became an official community FM station back in June 2010, yet still managed to build a brand that showcased the likes of Skream, Benga, Kode 9, Dizzee Rascal, Wiley and Oneman from their origins.
