You might have caught the absolutely breathtaking performance from Adele at Glastonbury over the weekend. It’s been bubbling around the internet since Saturday night, and rightly so.
The pure emotion and power that she drove into the performance had hairs on end up and down the country. Not many other artists can sing live and capture an audience quite like she does.
Her debut album, 19, features the mesmerising anthem ‘Hometown Glory’ which truly signifies Adele’s lyrical prowess and passion.
Now, we’re not normally a fan of D&B remixes of songs. They’re more often than not, bolted on and made to feel unnatural and forced. However, High Contrast’s remix of Hometown Glory might be the best D&B remix to date. It heightens the raw emotion felt in the original and perfectly compliments the vocals of the Tottenham artist.
